Sweaters and Lace

Snapped these while romping around DUMBO, before yesterday's flight to Miami! It's really crazy how the weather has been shifting in the city. Cold one day (it was snowing - snowing in April, people!), then hot the next, means one thing to me; learn to layer effectively.

My modus operandi when dressing for these seasonally confusing moments, is to skip out of my apartment in things like oversized sweaters and little lace numbers, leather jackets and denim cut-off's, or just a basic t-shirt and some boyfriend jeans. I don't understand what mother nature is intending, but I don't know how much more snow or winter drab I can take! Thank goodness I'm in Miami now - warm, sunny, and happy as ever to be with my family.
PS. I have a confession to make. I've been wearing this Mary Lai Ava Clutch, for a few weeks and I can't part ways with it - why would I want to?! It's insanely versatile, black, and with a gold chain. Sounds like perfection to me. And, in case that's not enough to have this bag become apart of my body, it turns into a clutch with gold statement hardware and a handheld strap. Talk about a bag that takes you from the office to after work drinks! For you ladies who go straight from the desk to happy hour with your girlfriends, or to grab a drink with your beaux, this bag is your new BFF. Quite literally, a transitional bag is a girls best friend. I mean, diamonds never hurt either...
