Separate but Together

Separate suiting or co-ords, have been a top choice of mine lately, especially when trying to get dressed in a rush! When rushing every morning to get ready for a day of meetings, or on the weekends to hop around Brooklyn to Brunch, sets have saved me so much time! I usually go for crop-tops and high waisted trousers or pencil skirts, but for something a little more casual, I gravitate towards pajama-like, loose, baggy, in a fine silk, and with a subtle pattern. The best part? You can mix and match your sets with other casual items in your wardrobe. Pencil skirts and t-shirts, blazers and jeans - you get the picture!

Who says that twin sets need to be all grandma-esque, with pearls? Swap that idea for something more sophisticated and modern. Cocktail dresses for a special event? Dated. Celebs have even been trading in their usual gowns for matching suits on the red carpet. So, if you're in a tizzy to get ready for something at the last minute, and you don't exactly have time to get a full blow-out, contour that face like a Kardashian, and wear a well thought out ensemble, stick to a bad-ass co-ord, slick your hair back, and put on a little lipstick. And, take inspiration from Solange or Gwyneth.
