Chances are you've been scarred by poorly styled festive clothing so I'm here to help you reclaim the golden throne.
The most important thing to remember when wearing anything shimmery is to keep it to a minimum. Either a subtle design or just one piece paired with a solid in black, white, nude, or jean. No, a hologram sequin top and skirt with glitter eyeshadow are not okay. You should also stay away from any skin tight pieces. A personal favorite is to pair with a casual piece to offset the "dressiness" and create a very uniquely styled look.
