I absolutely love a good play of aesthetics, mixing soft feminine pieces with edgier masculine items.
I went through what I like to call a "minimal goth stage", all black everything (wait, did that ever change?) and grungy, looser fitting thrifted clothing. I'm not sure I ever got out of that entirely because I can always throw a rough look on top of a form fitting dress or a-line skirt and heels.
One of my favorites, and probably sexiest combo, is the all time classic leather and lace. Say whaaaat! Though there seems to be an assumption that it's too dressy, this can be made appropriate day or night. Adding a moto to a lace short tones down the ladylike girl next door feel during the day, or leather bottoms with a lace blouse and sky-high heels scream sex look at me at night. A pop of color on your lip or nails and you have your cherry on top.
