Red Lipstick

I remember the first time I wore red lipstick; needless to say, it changed my entire life.

Not ever the girl who wore a lot of make up, no fancy tricks up my sleeve about application, contouring, or how-to reinvent your face every other day (I wish!). I just know that, the little me, who first wore red lipstick for a dance recital - tutu in tow - has pretty much been wearing it ever since. I survive on the same make up routine; mostly about moisturizing, all about red lips, mascara, and eye brows.

And, what about the tall tales of never mixing a red lip with a smokey eye? According to this months Harpers Bazaar, Lancome make up artist, Sandy Linter, says "That's a myth, as long as your shadow is soft, you won't look overdone".
