I've been in Miami for the past 9 days, and the sunshine has been just what I needed to make up for the longest New York Winter Ever.
I packed all of my Summer Essentials; you know, oversized tee's, knotted tanks, vintage cut-off shorts, something striped to wrap around my waist, bad-ass sneakers that don't look anything like 'sneakers', and a pair of heels I can romp around all day in!
All Summer year long, I wear something 'boyfriend'-esque. Boyfriends Jeans, check! Baggy Overalls that look like they were made for my beaux, check! Flannels and Sweaters that I probably stole from him, check, check, check.
Next up, t-shirts and tank tops that I can live in all year long. Loose and baggy isn't necessarily a style of dressing that my grandmother understands, but as far as I'm concerned, the bigger, the better! - generally, I find this to be a pretty sound notion, applicable to much more than dressing.
