I had the privilege of spending the day, shooting at an amazing lofty studio with Calypso St. Barth and.. the coup de grâce; my mom and grandma.
sounds like something magical - something largely greater than what I can even appreciate today. To me, this idea of generations of style, life style, and love; transcends time and serves as much more than just the traditional hand-me-down golden locket or string of pearls. It's the lessons you can only learn from your mom, Chantal, or grandma, Abba. I've never taken lightly how special it is to have both my mom and grandma with me, to tell me when I'm being appropriately or inappropriately foolish. From the moment when I first over-tweezed my eyebrows, to when I first received a birthday card and flowers from a boy, to when I made a mistake of dating the wrong one, saying the wrong thing(s), or to those moments of forgetting who I was - they were there, to love me. How thankful am I.
This is what life is all about people.
