I have no idea when Spring officially began, but I'm so happy it's finally here and finally hot in the city.
I travelled up to Newburgh a weekend or so ago, overpacked tote in one hand, pellegrino and a magazine in the other. I snapped these when I hopped off the train, right before the sunset. It's amazing how simple and completely fun Springtime can feel. Even though I was rushing and nearly missed my train (as always!), everything felt so effortless and easy breezy. And, what better way to spend a day train riding and city hopping, than in a flirty little sundress and some shades.
Sundresses, are a favorite seasonal go-to of mine. If you haven't splurged on one yet, there's really no need to, because actually you can either thrift one a la Clueless or Courtney Love circa 1990-something. Or, you can do as I've been, and turn to some budget-friendly floral dresses.
Perfect for pairing with sneakers for something sporty, or suede booties for an edgy alternative; Sundresses are more than all the rage when trying to beat the hot and humid weather woes. And, when you're on the go, throw on a leather jacket for some practical, yet fashionable, effect.
