Mixtape: Reinventing Classics

On Saturday, I had an easy-living kind of day (and! the luxury of having a car to drive around Brooklyn - woah!). I started the day with some power yoga, did some light reading, then leisurely strolled around Bedford for a bit, before heading to Crown Victoria to celebrate Landon's birthday! I had an amazing brunch and sipped on some beers - anything better on a Saturday?

A quintessential Fall day in Williamsburg, and the best part? I didn't have to go home and change a single time! Finding cozy looks you can wear all day from shopping and errands, to brunch and drinks is so the jam!
These pants feel something much like pajamas, so naturally they've become my new favorite. And, just as with anything else (think pencil skirts and sweatshirts), I love the idea of mixing a somewhat casual pant, with an easy knit and some heels for yet another no-fuss look. And, as per usual, I love, love an edgy take on a more traditional item. There's just something about remixing classics, that speaks to me. So, a split-black pullover seems pretty befitting for a girl like me. Nothing like toying with the fine line between classic and edgy. After all, you can take a girl out of Brooklyn, but...... You know the rest.
