Notably, I wore this Nonoo skirt more than twice, and never styled it the same way once! It was my favorite go to this Fall, for all things; meetings, running around the city, holiday parties, dinners in Brooklyn, the list is endless (and I wore this skirt through it all!). Check out how I styled this skirt here and here!
Without being entirely too girly or bright - admittedly, that is not my thing - I still love finding ways to mix and match more feminine items with edgier ones, to create a look that's all me. Pairing flirty, softer silhouettes, in bold colors, with darker, more in-your-face items, such as a boxy sweater or some leather, is a great way to keep things unexpected and.. yet again, edgy.
1. This Stella McCartney Sweater in a fuzzy Texture and Soft Grey Hue, paired with Jeffrey Campbell ankle booties, make for a casually, chic option that you can wear on a Saturday to the museum then out to lunch!
2. On the lighter side of things, keep your ensemble neutral and allow the skirt to really pop! Rock this Rebecca Taylor Dolman Sleeve Sweater with some cut-out shoes, for unexpected edge. I'd probably throw on my moto leather jacket here too - always ready for a chilly NYC night!
3. Another staple in my closet, this Leather Crop Top from Topshop, is a must-have to switch things up all season and layer under boyfriend coats and wool sweaters. Complete this look with a textured bomber jacket - and, can you believe that it's from Forever 21? Yes, please!
